Bookbuilders West 2005 Scholarship Awards

On On June 29, BBW held its annual Scholarship Fundraiser at the San Francisco office of Pearson Education. Raffle prizes were awarded to lucky attendees, and the BBW Scholarship awards were announced.

Mark Ong and Chris Smith spoke for the Scholarship Committee, and most of the scholarship recipients attended. Scholarship applicants created wonderful hand-made books, and the Scholarship Committee felt honored that 48 students put their hearts and souls into their projects. The students' level of interest in their subjects, their concept definitions, creative implementation, and technical expertise are extremely impressive. The Committee wished it could give 48 awards, but here are the 7 selected by the judges:
