People Going Places

Susan K. Badger has been named President and CEO of Wadsworth Publishing Company, Belmont. She has most recently served as editor-in-chief of social sciences and vice president/publisher for Allyn & Bacon in Boston.

Carol J. Bystrom, formerly of NEBC, has joined Edwards Brothers, Inc. as of January 15, 1996. Carol will be a sales representative working out of the Concord, CA office at 510-686-9040.

Debbie Cogan has joined Key Curriculum Press, Berkeley. Debbie was a senior production editor at Wadsworth Publishing Company.

Keith Faivre has joined Brooks/Cole Publishing Company, Pacific Grove, as Production Editor. Keith was a production editor at Prentice-Hall for five years before he headed for the West Coast, where he has freelanced for the last year.

Kim Hawley, formerly sales representative for Better Graphics and Carlisle Communications, has joined Courier Companies, Inc. as a midwestern sales representative.

Eric Platou has joined Malloy Lithographing, Inc. as Pacific Northwest sales person. He is located in the Seattle area and may be reached at 206-542-2557.

Jane Somers has joined The Crossing Press as marketing and special sales manager. She was previously sales representative for Quebecor Book Group.

Bob Uhlenhop has been named to replace retiring Frank Boman as president and CEO of Von Hoffmann Press, St. Louis, Missouri. Uhlenhop has been chief financial officer for Von Hoffmann.

George Lithograph, Brisbane, California, has announced the hiring of three key managers. Bill Sloan has been appointed president, Bob Rheingrover has been named vice president of manufacturing, and < B>Mike Liggett was named director of sales and marketing.
