Letter from out-going Bookbuilders West President, Elise Gochberg

Dear Bookbuilders West:

It has been my great pleasure to serve as your President for the past two years. As of June 1st, I am resigning as President, and my good friend and colleague, Michele Bisson Savoy, will be taking over on a temporary basis. I have truly enjoyed my time as President but look forward to moving on to new ventures within the industry. And, I will continue to serve as this year's Book Show Chair.

I am really proud of my two terms and what we accomplished. We updated and redesigned the website and hired a new Webmaster. We changed many of the venues for our events and tried to bring you some more interesting social and networking events (i.e., baseball game, Momo's social, etc.). And, we hired an Administrative Management Company to assist us in moving forward and keep us organized. I truly believe that all these improvements will allow us to grow and bring back value to our members.

I look forward to seeing you all at future events and at the Book Show. We are really excited about this year's Book Show. The CFE is due on July 13th, and the Book Show theme will be about the environment. Stay tuned for more information coming throughout the year about the Book Show.

Please stay involved in BBW, join committees, and go to the events! I always say I got more out of BBW than I gave, and I truly believe that. It is a great organization and allows room for industry education as well as networking.
