2007 Scholarship Celebration
Every spring, Bookbuilders West presents college design
students with scholarship funds in recognition of their
design achievements—their handmade books submitted
for judging. Congratulations, 2007 winners!
“I have just returned home again from an extended
trip and am happy to report that the BBW event was certainly
one of the finest highlights. Thank you for all of the
many volunteer hours you dedicated to make it a successful
event. And please extend my gratitude to others who were
so closely involved. It truly was a wonderful evening,
and the big smiles on all the students’ faces reflected
it! I regret that I didn't have enough time to visit with
all those involved to personally thank them, though I
hope they all realize how valuable their mentorship is
to these students. This achievement will personally affect
all of them in many positive ways and has been a great
introduction to the book and publishing industry along
with all the dedicated people involved in it. Books open
doors and minds, and your program only proves that!”
