OFFSHORE SOURCING: Feasibility, Economics, and Publisher/Supplier Initiatives

Please join Bookbuiders West for a panel discussion regarding a very hot topic in our Publishing Industry. Offshore Sourcing is becoming a very large initiative with many Publishers, Vendors, Freelancers and Service Providers in the Industry. The Offshore Initiative began with manufacturing services earlier this decade. In the past few years these outsourced services now include production, media services, prepress, editorial, project management, conversion/tagging, art and design. Benefits as well as drawbacks will be discussed with the panel, including the tools being used with Professional, Trade/Reference, School and College Publishers.

Bookbuilders West is pleased to have three very experienced and traveled Design and Production panel members to discuss the Feasibility, Economics and Publisher/Supplier Initiatives in our industry today.
